The Balloon Experiment

Last Wednesday we did an experiment with some balloons we learnt about density and surface pressure and how things float so we did an experiment with some balloons we acted like the balloons were the water and that we were floating on it. We were learning to write recounts in a recount there are...  The intro which has to have the five w's the five w's are who, what, when, where, and why. After the intro there is the main body that includes all of the main parts in the recount. Then there is the conclusion that is how you felt and all of your feelings.

The Balloon Experiment.
Last Wednesday  Room 4 did an experiment with the balloons.
We did it in Room 4. We did it because we wanted to continue on stem for surface pressure.

At first we didn't know what we were doing but then Miss Hart pulled out a packet of balloons and handed one out to everyone. We started to blow up the balloons and put them in the middle. Miss Hart asked some people to help get a move a desk upside down onto the balloons. After that we got into a circle and she got the desk on the balloons. The people that went on first were Kate G and Nevaeh. They looked like they were pretty scared and after a while they got off. Miss Hart chose some more people I was the first person I got on straight away and stood up and waited. She chose five more people they were, Quinn, Alex, Aimee, Ocea, and Bryce. Bryce kept on jumping up and down and trying to make the balloons. But I told him to stop.

I felt pretty nervous about getting on the desk on the balloons but pretty excited at the same time. But I loved it! It was probably the best experiment ever!
